Salutations Y'all

Hello everyone, I pray since my post last week the Lord has kept you and blessed you. Once again, there have been a few small changes to the website. I have added the Instagram for the CBI underneath the CC Trujillo link. That's another good way to see what I'm up to. Along with that, if you would like to receive an email for when I post an update. Please send an email to "Email@micahstimeinperu.com". Thank you all again for reading, and for your prayers.

Encouragement

This past Wednesday I had the privilege of giving the morning devotional. Which was such a blessing, anytime I get to go through the word of God with people. It always speaks to me, and it's fun for me. In my morning devotionals I am in Romans currently, and my reading brought me to Romans 8:28-29. Which is the perfect devotional, it really doesn't get much better than that. So, that's what I gave my devotional on. "For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren". Romans 8:28-29. The perfect passage to encourage, but also challenge. My question to those reading this, do you know? Do you truly know all things work together for good? God doesn't say it will be easy, or that we will understand. But in the end, God's goodness towards us will be revealed. He always deals faithfully with us. If you love God and walk according to His calling on your life. It will work out, whatever is challenging or testing you right now, God's got it. Think of a painter, at first when they are painting. To an outside observer, they just see random colors and lines, nothing makes sense yet. But the painter can see the painting from the start, only when the painting is finished. Do we the observer finally see and understand the whole picture. This is how it is with us and God, so trust in the Master painter, He sees the whole picture.

What I've been up to?

Aside from the morning devotional I have been quite busy. We just wrapped up the book of Isaiah in our classes, and what a book it was! Full of judgment, redemption, Messianic prophesy, and the Millennial Kingdom. It's a great book, part of my homework for the class was to read Isaiah twice, plus a commentary by Warren B. Wiersbe. I have also been doing a lot of electrical work doing my service hours, pulling new wire for the church coffee shop, as we prepare for all the pastor's and missionary's coming to the conference. Oh yeah, the conference. That's taken up some of my time recently, I hope y'all enjoyed the video + the bloopers! Please continue to pray for it, we are already working very hard. But we will continue to do so. Pray for me as well, I will be working the kitchen, and we are preparing meals for five-hundred people. Conference aside, I attended Calvary Chapel Buenos Aires this Sunday. Not the city in Argentina, because Trujillo is so big, it has smaller divisions inside the city just like how New York does. It's a primarily Venezuelan church, and the people there have incredible stories. Keep that church in your prayers, most of them have been through great tribulation. But they have such joy and peace in the Lord. Later that Sunday I went out to a Chili's for lunch, yes, I know. I was as shocked as you were, but there is a Chili's in Peru. And it was actually pretty good, I had my first hamburger for the first time in a month and a half, so it was a little piece of home. I have also gotten to hang out with a member of the Whosoevers, a ministry group started by Ryan Rees, son of Pastor Raul Rees. They focus on ministering to the youth. Unfortunately, this is all the time I have this week. Hopefully next week I can share more.

Prayer Requests

Please continue to pray for the upcoming conference and everyone who will be attending. But also, the students and I and staff here. Pray for the Buenos Aires church and the upcoming mission's week to Lima as well. I miss and love you all, I'm hoping to send another video soon. I pray the Lord make keep you blameless till He comes.

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely: and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ". 1st Thessalonians 5:23

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

Matthew 28:19
